I found them through their youtube channel, and loved how informative and not "selly" their videos were (a lot of buyer's agents are aggressively trying to push their services, and I hate that). This prompted me to reach out to them about buying my first home. Sydney (where I live) is obscenely expensive, so I knew I'd need to buy an investment property in a location I know nothing about. I interviewed 3 BA's before settling on using Property Navigation for my IP. I had watched a heap of their YouTube videos, along with other BA's online, before reaching out to them. I liked their approach to investing and their down to earth or relatable approach. It was reasonable, measured and they were not selling get rich quick schemes or dreams. I remember getting a call from Boyd on the same day that I emailed the company and things moved pretty quickly from that point on. We organised an online conference call and I went over my objectives for this particular buy. Admittedly, I may have made it a bit difficult given my price point for this particular purchase ($525k max - other thereabouts) was a bit too low for certain areas I was hoping to get into. Houses were sent to me via Whatsapp along with video walk throughs and photographs. Communication was fairly consistent throughout the process and as busy as Boyd may have been from time to time, he was always pretty contactable when I had a question or wanted clarification about something. I settled on my property in the Toowoomba area, in November 2024, paying $460k. I contacted a real estate company in the area yesterday, before writing this to find out roughly, what the property is worth today and was told mid 500's. That is outstanding and I feel pumped. The results speak for themselves, and whatever personal issues pop up between a BA and myself along the way and journey become irrelevant when you see returns like that. I am genuinely very happy with this purchase and the capital growth it has made in a very short time. I have used three different BA's over recent years and the result I have achieved thanks to Boyd and Property Navigation speak for themselves.

Working with Property Navigation was a disappointing experience which lasted approx. 2.5 - 3 months before I terminated the Contract. I found Property Navigation poor to communicate with and most disappointingly had a few missed opportunities that were never realised - houses that fit the brief outlined in the initial consultation which were never sent through to me, the Client. Additionally, the majority of houses that were sent through a) did not meet the brief and b) had incorrect information provided (e.g. incorrect flood maps - publicly available data).Contractually there was no obligation to refund the engagement fee, however it should be noted I terminated the services agreement feeling cheated out of a substantial sum of money (the engagement fee) given there was no real output in that period.That being said, I appreciate the share of knowledge at the beginning of the journey, and I do think the business is set up for success with enthusiastic & motivated owners (which is a consistent theme across the only 5 star reviews).My gut feeling is that the business took on a bit too much in a tough market mid-2024 and there was little or no time to invest in all Client's engaged in the services. I was successful in buying my own first home on the back of building my own authentic and genuine relationships with real estate agents. I would recommend people give this a go first (if time permits) before engaging with a buyer's agent.

Sat down with Boyd for a strategy session to discuss future investing in the property market. I've never considered investing the property market because I never thought I could afford to. After a brief chat we worked out a way of how I could invest my money save for a future investment property. By readjusting my budget with minimal impact on my lifestyle it seems as though purchasing a property in the near future IS possible!! I couldn't recommend Boyd/Property Navigation enough!! I am currently planning to buy on the Sunshine Coast in the near future and I came across Property Navigation in my many many Google searches! I had no idea really what a Buyers Agent was but as I read on about what they could help me with, I decided to book in for one of their free one on one strategy sessions to learn more and hopefully set me on the right track! Boyd was absolutely amazing, he was so knowledgeable and taught me about the power of property and how not all property is created equal. I learnt that if you want to build wealth in even just a few property purchases, there are fundamentals that must be used - I had no idea! Since our one on one I have a much much clearer understanding of the purchase I want to make and the goals I want to achieve through property.
